Heritage

Anthony Cesario, President and Founder of Cesario Homes, embarked on his contracting career at a young age, influenced by a strong work ethic and a deep respect for craftsmanship. His early experiences working alongside his father, Dante Cesario, a European cabinetmaker, shaped his professional path. Born in Ethiopia to Italian parents, Anthony immigrated to the U.S. at 14. As a teenager, he took on various jobs to support his family, from selling ice cream to driving cabs. At 21, he discovered his true passion for carpentry and joined his father in the trade full-time. Today, two of Anthony’s seven children—Dante, the company’s project manager, and Noelle, who handles sales and marketing—continue the family legacy.

Anthony holds several certifications from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), including membership in the Elite Builder 20 Club, and served as president of the Illinois Homebuilders Association from 1984 to 1986.

His passion, knowledge, and experience set Anthony and his team at Cesario Homes apart. He often says, “I might get hit by a milk truck tomorrow, but my homes will stand the test of time, leaving a legacy for everyone to enjoy.”

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda, their seven children, and four grandchildren. An avid jogger, he participates in charity races nationwide and dedicates much of his free time to community service through organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Home Aid Chicago.
